Igloos, drawings of igloos, renderings of igloos
| Did you know...
There are 3 types of igloos.
The smallest is constructed as a temporary shelter, usually during hunting
season and on frozen water. Medium sized igloos were constructed with one
room and for one or two families. When grouped together they were
called an Inuit village. Large igloos were built in pairs. One
igloos was temporary for special occasions and the other one was built with up
to 5 rooms and more permanent for the families. Some igloos had
underground tunnels between them.
